To install KeyStrokes you should place the KeyStrokes folder anywhere on your hard disk. The KeyStrokes Extension and TSM Fix extension should both be installed in the Extensions Folder of the System Folder of your start-up device (typically your main hard disk). You can either do this manually or drop the KeyStrokes Extension on top of a closed System Folder in which case the computer will automatically place it in the right folder
Important note for users of previous versions of KeyStrokes: Before running KeyStrokes 2.0.2 you should remove any file that starts with “KeyStrokes Extension” from your Extensions Folder (which is in your System Folder) and replace them with the file “KeyStrokes Extension 2.0.2 68K” or “KeyStrokes Extension 2.0.2 PPC” depending on whether you want to use the 68K or PowerPC version of KeyStrokes.
About the manual: The file “KeyStrokes 2.0 Manual”, which is in the “KeyStrokes documentation” folder, contains the most complete documentation including step-by-step explanations on the menus, windows and dialogs of KeyStrokes (including screenshots). It also contains information and URLs for ordering KeyStrokes.
System requirements: Note that KeyStrokes is only available for Macintosh. KeyStrokes requires system 7.1 or later (it has been tested up to and including MacOS 9). It runs on any Mac with a PowerPC or 68020 processor or higher. There are separate versions for 68K and PowerPC.
New in version 2.0.2: Version 2.0.2 now comes with dictionaries in several major languages, including US and UK English, French and German. More dictionaries will be made available for download on our web site in the coming weeks (including Italian, Spanish and Dutch). Dictionaries of 15000 words are included with the PPC version and dictionaries of 5000 words with the 68K version. For details on the dictionaries see the “About KeyStrokes Dictionaries” in the “KeyStrokes documentation” folder. Version 2.0.2 fixes some minor issues.
Fixes in version 2.0.1: Version 2.0.1 fixes a problem related to missing libraries on PowerPC computers running system software earlier than MacOS 8.5. It also fixes some minor issues.
